History

1987
Thomas H. Hughes & Associates was founded by Thomas H. Hughes, AIA with their first office located at the Roger Page Business and Technology Center.

1989
The firm relocated to downtown Winston-Salem and made its home in the historic Loewy Building on Fourth Street.

1998
The firm was renamed Thomas H. Hughes Architecture, PC and Andrew J. Lopina, AIA was named Vice President.

1999
Sunnynoll Court became the new home to the company.  The Sunnynoll Court development was designed by the firm and allowed additional comfort and more room for company growth.

2006
Thomas H. Hughes Architecture, PC merges with Trinity Architecture & Planning giving the firm a deeper staff and broader experience base for their work.

2007
In January of 2007 the firm celebrated its twentieth anniversary. 

2012
In January the firm reached a milestone. We celebrated our 25th year in business in the triad.
