Ibraham Elementary School, 2.18.2008

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools recently selected Thomas H. Hughes Architecture, PC to design and oversee construction of Ibraham Elementary School, a new facility replacing an existing school on the same site.  A classroom wing of the existing facility will be retained while the remainder of the building will be demolished.  The new school is 60,000 square feet and includes administration, guidance, media center, cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, and classroom spaces.  Building construction began in December 2007 and is scheduled for completion in June of 2009.
