Thomas H. Hughes Architecture, P.C. architect Barry Parks is working with Lake Forest Church in Lake Norman, NC to study a  a second phase of expansion for their fast-growing congregation.  Parks, who designed the first Phase of the church, which is featured in the Portfolio section of our website, also had previously produced the original master plan that forecast a roadmap for growth for the 20-acre tract occupied by the church.

The current phase of work focuses on the expansion of the parking, the worship center, and education spaces, and the addition of a multipurpose assembly building which will house activities mostly focused on children's worship and older student activities.

THH Architecture has already created numerous renderings and digital animations illustrating proposed changes to the interior and exterior of the buildings on campus, in order to assist the congregation's current capital campaign.  We've also been commissioned to produce the construction drawings related to the expansion of the worship center, which involves the addition of balconies along each side of the existing space, as well as the addition of adjacent spaces for required exits and storage.  The balance of work will move forward after the results are collected from the capital campaign.
